My Manitou Incline Experience
This weekend I completed one of my New Years Resolutions. I also completed one of the most difficult hikes I have ever done. My husband and I hiked the Manitou Incline in Manitou Springs Colorado. The Manitou Incline is a 1 mile hike, but climbs 2,000 vertical feet. This doesn't include the down climb. This hike was amazing and very challenging at the same time.
Climbing the Manitou Incline literally took all of my mental and physical strength. Honestly, there were times during the climb that I didn't know if I'd make it, but pure will power, faith and prayer kept me going. I'm glad I had my husband there with me and cheering me on.
I know If it wasn't for good health and good nutrition I probably wouldn't have made it. Nutrition plays a integral role in our bodies being able to function to their fullest potentials.
